I call the below video "Golf's #1 Tip for Hitting the Ball to the Target" because clubface awareness is missed by most golfers. The clubface is so small in golf that golfers don't pay attention to it. A tennis racket and a hockey stick are large the players intuitively pay attention to them. There are no chronic slicers in these sports.
Golfers have instinctively said to each other "Take the club down the line" to hit it straight. This effects the path (incorrectly because golf is circular in nature) and not the face. Face angle at impact has the biggest effect on where the ball ends up. Watch for a complete discussion. Enjoy.
