Greensboro, Ga. (February 26, 2008) -Reynolds Plantation, a Linger Longer Community, has been named to the list of 2008 Top 100 Golf Communities by Travel + Leisure Golf magazine.
The January-February issue of Travel + Leisure Golf features the annual listing of the "Best Places to Live -- and Live Well," where Reynolds Plantation was listed 19th, up three spots from the previous year. The magazine also describes Reynolds as "one of the most innovative golf communities in the U.S." It is one of only three Georgia communities honored in the rankings.

The Top 100 identifies those communities that best combine superb golf with homes and facilities of the highest quality, extraordinary location and a wealth of lifestyle opportunities. To be eligible, communities must offer property owners an opportunity for membership in an affiliated private golf club.
From an initial group of candidates that included more than 2,000 golf communities, the field was reduced to several hundred. Each was rated in five categories: golf (worth up to 35 points); quality of housing (25 points); community amenities and activities (20 points); location, including natural setting and proximity to cultural and other activities (15 points); and X-factor, such as celebrity residents or buzz (5 points). The points are then totaled to rank the Top 100.
